Westminster Christian 18 Luther North 1

The Warriors swept to a pair of victories in Private School League action. Westminster won the opener 18-1 behind a pair of home runs from catcher Carter Ward, who now has 6 long homers this season. Ward also tripled and drove in 5. Ted Grossman hit a grand slam and Steve Berglund whacked a 3-run home run for the Warriors. Brandon Siewert improved to 5-0 this season with a 3-hitter in 5 innings pitched

Wesminster Christian 15 Luther North 4

It was more of the same in Game 2 as Westminster Christian (17-4-1) jumped to a 12-1 lead through three innings. Cory Hodge went 3-for-3 with 2 home runs and 5 RBI, Casey Schuring went 2-for3 with a triple and Ward went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI. Ryan Donahue (4-2) earned the win for the Warriors.
