WC's Perez aids on mound, at bat in win

ELGIN -- It was a banner day for Westminster Christian's freshman Ryan Perez as the Warriors(25-7, 13-3) rolled to a 13-4 Private School League win over visiting Aurora Christian on Thursday.

Perez(6-2) earned the win on the mound, tossing four innings with five strikeouts and two walks. He also went 3-for-4 at the plate with a home run and two RBIs.

Chadd Schroy led the Warriors offensive outburst with six RBIs on three hits, including a home run. Brandon Siewert added two hits, two RBIs and Brandon Weingartner had a triple and an RBI.
