Westminster Christian broke an IHSA record for consecutive shutouts by recording its fifth and sixth straight with a pair of five-inning victories against Luther South.

The Warriors (13-3) won 17-0 in Game 1 behind a complete-game effort by Ryan Donahue (3-1), who struck out nine and gave up only two hits. Donahue and Zach Holmer each scored three runs.

Chadd Schroy (1-1) also struck out nine as he was the winning pitcher in a 16-0 victory in the nightcap.

Donahue scored three more runs while Holmer went 3-for-4 and scored a pair.
